it may be tricky to come up with a list of foods that are red, white or blue… but when you stop to think about the options, really there are quite a few. this is a shared board that we enjoy putting together for america’s birthday. i love it because it’s so festive + unique from most combinations.

meat, cheese, fruit, crackers, nuts, protein–we love this board as an easy way to get some quick nourishment when we have either waited too long to eat or aren’t sure what we need–hey, it happens!

we love this board for all the protein + fresh fruit plus, most of these items are whole foods, which always makes me feel like we’re winning as parents. i know that i feel better eating foods that can be found mostly in nature + on our table with minimal processing, so sharing these kinds of foods with our kids feels like one of the best things we can give them.
