witch fingers

expand your children’s palate with these gourmet witch fingers made with cheese straws, red pepper jelly, and marcona almonds for an elevated afterschool snack that always enchants!

building blocks:
(serves 2+)

cheese straws
red pepper jelly (or any other favorite fruit spread, jam works well.)
marcona almonds (we used the truffled almonds from trader joes for an elevated + salty flavor profile)

directions:
(5-10 minutes)

note: cheese straws are usually pretty fragile + break easily
choose the longer straws to get the full effect of a witch’s finger
spread red pepper jelly on one end of straw this will act as a glue for the almond
place one marcona almond on the pepper jelly with pointed end out, to look like a nail
repeat for as many “fingers” as you wish to make

we hope you love the way your kids will find
their new favorite foods when they eat from a board!
