boo-nanas

continuing to share our seasonally themed healthy snacks for the afterschool crew- this one is as easy as it gets!

building blocks:
(serves 1)
1 banana
a pinch of milk or semi sweet chocolate chips (the miniature size works too!)

directions:
(1-2 minutes per ghost)

first, peel the banana; our kids like holding theirs in the peel
next, place the pointed side of three chocolate morsels into the banana to make a face as pictured, **be gentle so as to not break the banana–these are friendly ghosts + are not intended to scare!
as you eat the first ghost, continue making faces as you enoy the whole banana

OR, if you’d rather:
half the banana + peel the skin, turning both halves so the pointed side is at the top of your board
next, place the pointed side of three chocolate morsels into the banana to make a face as pictured, **be gentle so as to not break the banana–these are friendly ghosts + are not intended to scare!
this method may be helpful for our friends with small hands.

we hope you love the way your kids will find
their new favorite foods when they eat from a board!
