this is our take on a fun, family board we found x the baker mama
There are many ways to recreate this cute one depending on what your family likes. don’t forget to introduce a few new veggies or foods that your family maybe hasn’t tried yet! this is the moment to show them how it can be fun to try new things. we find that when our kids get to help prep the food, they are more likely to try it + oftentimes find they like it too!

building blocks:
(serves 4-6+)
hummus
red peppers
crackers
broccoli
sliced radishes
sliced carrots
sliced celery
cherry tomato(es)
asparagus spears
directions:
(5-10 minutes)
this one is a lot like a color by number! we used an inspirational image from baker mama’s original + made it our own using thing we knew we’d like to eat.
we started by placing a dish in the center for hummus; this could be a bread dish or a bowl, but it forms the bunny’s face, so it should be proportionately sized to the board + serves as the focal point for the design!
plate the hummus, place at center of board
wash + cut the vegetables
cut broccoli florets from the head
cut the ends off of asparagus
thinly slice the radishes
peel, cut + quarter carrots
cut celery sticks into thirds or smaller
place veggies to create a scene- this step lends itself to some creative interpretation!
working up from the hummus plate, arrange crackers to form ears
fill the ears shapes with red pepper slices
place broccoli around the ears as a background
working down the board, arrange radishes, carrots, celery + extra crackers
last, place a cherry tomato, asparagus spears + black jelly beans for bunny’s nose, eyes + whiskers
serve it up: once everything is on the board, invite your family to dig in by making selections off the board onto their own serving plate as a side dish, OR encourage grazing + conversation while the main meal is being prepared.
as always, our charcuterie boards are
